I have wanted to have a BBR for a few years now, ever since I had my child. Being a surgeon myself I was very anxious about whether I was making the right decision – Mr Martin Jones managed to make me feel at ease, he answered my innumerable questions with patience and went through the whole surgical process in detail. I felt very well looked after during the hospital stay and his administrative staff were fantastic in responding to any queries and arranging follow up. Post op pain was not too bad and the scars are healing beautifully, no doubt thanks to his surgical expertise. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Jones to anyone considering similar surgery.

I’ve lived in three different countries, have a complicated medical history, and have been through breast cancer twice. I can say that without a doubt Mr Martin Jones is superb. He corrected the first reconstruction (done by someone else) using a procedure called DIEP. The results were fabulous and the memory of mastectomy could at last fade from my view. But eight years later, my other breast had to be removed. Medically unable to do another DIEP, I opted for an implant. We’re in the process of fine tuning the results.

Martin Jones’ skills as a surgeon are certainly top notch. But it’s those skills combined with his patient care that give me the confidence to make these important medical decisions and then move through the process with him. To be able to share all my concerns and questions is very important. He is  patient,  kind and knowledgeable. I know whatever he proposes is right for me; that I’m not just a statistic. Really – thanks to him, I feel more whole.
